Our mission
Linux appears in an extraordinary range of systems, but platform decisions are often discussed in isolated categories. LinuxPlatform.com connects the layers. We explain how distribution lifecycle, compute boundaries, identity, networking, storage, observability, security, update strategy, and recovery shape a complete Linux platform.
What we publish
The site includes pillar guides for Linux VPS hosting, bare metal, dedicated servers, containers, virtual machines, AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud, desktop systems, routers, embedded hardware, and distribution selection. The Linux hosting blog provides long-form implementation guides with practical checklists.
Our perspective
We favor workload-first architecture. There is no universal best distribution, provider, or abstraction. Recommendations should state the operating model, failure boundary, lifecycle, and tradeoff. We do not publish paid rankings, invent performance results, or treat a product logo as a substitute for evidence.
